This talk "Will Sığacık Slow Down?" was prepared based on my first book about a small fishing village on the Aegean coastline. After the changes in recent years in Sığacık, which is a part of Seferihisar, Izmir, this talk discusses the primary example of the "Slow City" practice in Turkey. I shared my approach and impressions with reference to the "Izmir Model" and the idea of what a "Slow City” is.
